Managed to get a hold of the Thistly Cross Cider people, and I’m glad to say that their cider will be with us for the Beer Festival – the first time we’ve had Scottish cider available.

They’ve been ordered and as usual they are coming from Barritt Glass Print. Again as with previous years we’ll be selling the glasses to raise funds for the SSPCA.

Islay Ales have confirmed today that their ales should be with us for the Beer Festival. Another new one for us. Making progress on the brews from England-shire but nothing to confirm yet…

This weekend, Saturday 22nd August, is the Glenurquhart Highland Games in Drumnadrochit. Once again this year we will have the Loch Ness Beer Festival Poker Tournament which will take place in the Dining Room on Sunday 20th September. Start time to be confirmed but we hope to have at least 20 runners for this.

Ciders for this year’s Festival will be provided by the Ross-on-Wye Cider & Perry Company. We should have 8 different ciders from them and other local cider makers. Should be enough to keep the apple fans happy.
